Join the team at Miroma Hostel in Cummins as a Direct Care Worker (Residential), where you'll play an important role in providing compassionate, person-centred care to residents in a welcoming residential care environment.
You'll assist residents with their daily living needs, support their wellbeing and independence, and help create a safe, comfortable and respectful home.
Working alongside a supportive multidisciplinary team, you'll contribute to quality care that recognises each resident's individual needs, preferences and abilities.

Flexibility is essential, as you'll participate in a seven-day roster covering a variety of shifts.
Key Responsibilities: Assist residents with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, bathing, dressing, toileting, mobility and transfers, while promoting dignity, comfort and independence.
Support residents' wellbeing through meaningful activities, social interaction and individualised care, including assisting with identified special needs and diversional therapy programs.
Observe and report changes in residents' wellbeing, maintain accurate care documentation and assist with routine care procedures in accordance with established policies and directions.
Maintain a clean, safe and comfortable environment while working collaboratively with colleagues, following secure work practices and undertaking training to maintain your skills and knowledge.
