As a HR Officer, you'll provide support to the HR Superintendent across the site.
Your responsibilities will include:
Preparing HR documentation, including investigation outcomes, warnings, performance improvement plans and termination correspondence
Supporting fitness for work, return-to-work and absenteeism matters
Building relationships with leaders and employees across site
Working with Payroll, Travel and Site Administration to resolve employee related matters
Supporting HR projects, initiatives and continuous improvement activities




Escalating complex employee relations matters where required
To be successful in this role, you'll bring:
Previous experience in an HR Officer experience
Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Business or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience
Knowledge of employee relations, investigations, performance management and disciplinary processes
Working knowledge of Australian employment legislation, Awards and/or Enterprise Agreements
Robust communication, influencing and stakeholder management skills
Excellent organisation and time management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities
A practical and confident approach to working with leaders at all levels
Experience in mining, construction, civil, manufacturing or another industrial environment will be highly regarded
