About the role
As a Medical Imaging Assistant at Lumus Imaging Fairfield, you'll support our radiographers to deliver a smooth, safe and caring experience for every patient.
Your day will include:




Welcoming and preparing patients for their examinations, including changing and escorting them through the department
Assisting radiographers with patient transfers and positioning support under supervision
Ensuring patient comfort, safety and dignity, including for anxious and unwell patients
Maintaining clean, well-stocked rooms and following infection control standards
Supporting the front desk and clinical team to keep the day running on time
Observing a wide range of examinations to build your clinical knowledge
About you
Currently enrolled in the 3rd or 4th year of a Bachelor of Medical Radiation Science (or equivalent radiography degree)
Committed to building your career in diagnostic imaging, with the goal of joining us as a graduate
A patient-first approach, with a warm, calm and skilled manner
Strong communication skills and a genuine team-player attitude
Reliable, punctual and happy to take feedback on board
Availability to work shifts around your study commitments
