We're looking for a Senior Analyst with a strong interest in advisory, control design and assurance, and a willingness to build capability across technical evaluation and controls.

What will your typical day look like?
As a Senior Analyst in our AI Assurance team, you'll own defined workstreams and apply technical analysis, evaluation and controls thinking to advise on, assess and strengthen AI systems, assess evidence and form clear, supportable conclusions.
Your work will span a broad range of AI advisory and assurance activity, including AI control assessment and design, AI Assurance and AI Internal Audit, technical evaluation of models, retrieval-augmented generation and agents, and reviews of AI platform and lifecycle controls.
You'll also support regulatory and governance readiness and help strengthen our assurance methodology and evaluation infrastructure.
You'll translate AI, business and control risks into practical, proportionate work programs and control design approaches,



design and execute testing across models, data, prompts, retrieval, agents, platforms and related controls, and work closely with business, risk, technology, data science and engineering stakeholders through interviews and workshops.
You'll assess and advise on control design and operating effectiveness, challenge assumptions, evaluate the reliability and limitations of evidence, and link observations to risk and business impact.
You'll also draft concise, evidence-based workpapers, findings and report sections, while guiding juniors on testing approach and escalating quality, scope or evidence concerns early.
About the team AI Assurance sits within our Digital Assurance team in Deloitte's Audit IT and business qualifications will be viewed favourably.
Exposure to AI or model evaluation, statistical testing, experimental design, RAG or agent evaluation, production performance measurement, or control design and uplift.
Working knowledge of model risk, AI governance and relevant standards or frameworks such as ISO *****, SOC reporting, ASAE ***********, CPS 230 or CPS 234.
Experience leading components of engagements or workstreams, with strong judgement in risk, controls, advisory and assurance environments.
Strong written communication, disciplined documentation and the ability to work confidently across business, risk and technical stakeholders.
A sharp analytical mindset, strong attention to detail and a track record of delivering high-quality work at pace.
