ID Ecological Management is seeking a highly experienced Senior Ecologist / Botanist with a minimum of 10 years' professional experience to take a leading technical role within our Consulting team.
The successful applicant will bring well-developed botanical, ecological assessment and GIS skills, providing technical leadership, mentoring staff and managing complex ecological projects across Victoria.
Working alongside an experienced and supportive team, you will contribute to complex ecological projects, provide specialist technical advice and help deliver practical solutions that balance conservation outcomes with project and regulatory requirements.
You will enjoy a balance of fieldwork and office-based projects, taking a leading role in delivering ecological assessments, providing technical guidance and mentoring to staff and contributing to meaningful environmental outcomes within an experienced, supportive team.

About the role The successful applicant will undertake and manage a range of ecological consulting projects, including: Flora and fauna assessments, vegetation mapping and ecological impact assessments.
Native vegetation assessments, including Habitat Hectare assessments and offset investigations.
Threatened flora and fauna habitat assessments, targeted surveys and ecological monitoring.
