We have an exciting opportunity for a SMP QC Inspector to join the Quality Team in Karratha!
In this role, you will effectively be responsible for overseeing and ensuring the quality and compliance of mechanical systems, components, and installations in accordance with project specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
This role involves conducting inspections, supervising junior inspectors, and maintaining detailed documentation to support quality assurance efforts.

Your focus will include: Perform inspections of mechanical equipment, piping, welding, and installations to ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, and applicable codes (e.g., ASME, API, ISO).
Review and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and quality plans.
Prepare and maintain inspection reports, non-conformance reports (NCRs), and quality documentation.
Monitor and verify welding procedures, welder qualifications, and material traceability.
Coordinate with engineering, construction, and client representatives to resolve quality issues.
Participate in internal and external audits and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards during inspections.
What you will bring to the team Minimum 7–10 years of experience in mechanical quality control, preferably in oil
