DSC Personnel is currently seeking an experienced
Fitter Machinist
for a metal spinning and manufacturing company based in
Minto
. This is a hands-on role suited to a skilled tradesperson with strong machining, tooling and mechanical maintenance experience.
Key Responsibilities
Operating
manual and CNC lathes
Making, modifying and repairing
tooling
Setting up machinery for production
Mechanical maintenance across a range of manufacturing machinery
Fault finding and repairs
Reading and working from drawings and specifications
Supporting production with tooling and machinery requirements
General fitting, machining and workshop duties
To be Successful
Trade qualification as a
Fitter Machinist
or equivalent experience
Strong experience with
manual lathes
CNC lathe experience highly desirableExperience making and repairing tooling
Solid mechanical and problem-solving skills
Ability to complete machinery set-ups and adjustments
Maintenance experience across various machinery
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Manufacturing or metalworking experience preferred
