Company vehicle phone provided Full-time permanent position (Monday - Friday) Depot based in Canning Vale About the Role We are looking for a hands-on Garden Maintenance Team Leader to assist with the maintenance, cleaning, repairs and minor construction of park assets.
This varied outdoor role will see you working across playgrounds, park furniture, fencing and other public assets to ensure they remain safe, functional and well presented.
Responsibilities Lead and direct a team of maintenance staff, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently.
Follow schedules and prioritise tasks to ensure timely completion of garden maintenance activities, including planting, hedging, weeding, pruning and fertilising.
Provide guidance, mentorship, and training to the team to enhance their horticultural skills and safety practices.
Regularly inspect garden areas to assess their condition, identify improvements needed, and implement corrective actions.
Interact with clients to understand their preferences, address concerns, and provide updates on maintenance activities.

About You Valid Driver's licence (C Class Manual) Proven experience in a Team Leader or Supervisor role Certificate III in Horticulture or Parks Gardens (desirable not essential) Current Driver Licence White Card National Police Check Working with Children Check or willingness to obtain Team player with excellent communication skills Our Team Culture Discover Green by Nature.
