Reporting to the Director Infrastructure, you will provide strategic and operational leadership across Council's Works Section, overseeing the delivery of road construction and maintenance, drainage, concrete infrastructure, civil projects, asset management and associated services.
Leading a large and diverse workforce, you will be responsible for ensuring safe, productive and sustainable service delivery while driving continuous improvement, long-term asset sustainability and strong community outcomes.

maintenance and asset management programs Proven success leading large operational teams within complex and safety-critical environments Robust strategic capability across planning, budgeting, risk management and resource allocation Experience developing and implementing long-term infrastructure and asset management strategies Robust stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to work effectively with Councillors, government agencies, contractors, employees and the community A demonstrated commitment to safety, workforce development and continuous improvement Relevant tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
