Interstate Transport
Team, you will be employed as
Heavy Vehicle Truck Driver
. This permanent full-time role reports directly to the Transport Manager and involves the following duties and responsibilities:
Safely operate heavy vehicles, including trucks and trailers, to transport freight to designated locations across interstate routes.
Adhere to assigned routes and schedules to guarantee timely delivery and pickup of goods.
Assist with the safe and efficient loading and unloading of freight, ensuring compliance with load restraint regulations.
Maintain accurate documentation, including logbooks and fuel/toll receipts.
Conduct daily pre-trip inspections, addressing any concerns before departure.
Follow all road safety rules.
Collaborate effectively with the transport manager and team members to support our road freight logistics operations.

calculated on actual distance travelled once you have left the yard + Allowances.

About You:
You have a valid
MC license
and a clean driving record. HC licenses will be considered.
Road train experience
preferred but not essential.
Experience in a
variety of freight types
and load restraint systems.
Strong time management skills and a thorough knowledge of traffic laws and regulations.
Experience or ability in operating
on board reporting technology
(tablet).
Proactive in maintaining vehicle safety and compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team.
A solid focus on
safety and compliance
with NHVAS Mass, Maintenance and Fatigue protocols.
Applicants based outside the Illawarra region will be considered depending on location.
