The Opportunity

ROUSSOS Recruitment is representing an established South Australian commercial builder with a growing pipeline of major construction projects.

Operating across commercial, education, health, residential, hospitality and mixed-use developments, the business offers exposure to projects valued at $20M and above, providing an excellent environment to expand your technical and commercial capabilities.

An chance is available for a Project Coordinator to join an experienced delivery team, working closely with senior project professionals to coordinate key project activities from planning through to completion.

You will play an active role in keeping projects on track, building relationships with key stakeholders and taking ownership of increasingly complex responsibilities. With a supportive team around you, this is an opportunity to strengthen your project delivery experience and work towards your longer-term career goals.

The Role

Reporting to the Project Manager and working alongside the Site Manager, you will help coordinate the day-to-day requirements of major commercial construction projects.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Managing project documentation, registers and reporting requirements
- Coordinating subcontractor procurement, engagement and onboarding
- Liaising with consultants, suppliers and project stakeholders
- Monitoring project schedules,



milestones and upcoming deliverables
- Assisting with budgets, cost tracking, variations and progress claims
- Supporting forecasting, financial reporting and commercial administration
- Organising project meetings and tracking actions through to completion
- Maintaining accurate records and ensuring project information is up to date
- Assisting with site and project team requirements to maintain delivery progress
- Identifying issues early and helping the team develop practical solutions

You will gain valuable exposure to the commercial and operational aspects of project delivery, with the opportunity to increase your responsibility as your experience develops.

You will ideally bring:

- 2-4 years' experience in Project Coordination or a similar construction role
- Exposure to commercial construction projects, ideally valued at $20M+
- A degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or a related discipline
- An understanding of project delivery, procurement and construction processes
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities
- Commercial awareness, accuracy and attention to detail
- Confidence communicating with subcontractors, consultants and internal teams
- A proactive mindset and a practical approach to resolving issues
- The motivation to expand your capabilities and progress towards Project Management
