D’Arcy Weil is recruiting an O&M; Operations Manager on behalf of a growing renewable energy business with an expanding portfolio of large-scale solar and storage assets across Australia. The role can be based in Brisbane or Sydney and takes ownership of how those assets perform, including:

- Setting the operating strategy across maintenance planning, asset performance and service delivery
- Building on the operational frameworks already in place as the portfolio scales
- Managing maintenance providers and specialist service partners to agreed standards
- Lifting availability, reliability and generation through planning, data and early issue resolution
- Working with engineering, construction, safety and commercial teams so that new assets move into operation smoothly

The business has an established operational base and a growing pipeline, and needs a leader to carry the portfolio through its next stage of growth.

The Role

- Operational leadership: Own the safe, reliable and commercially sound operation of large-scale solar and storage assets across Australia, and set the operating strategy across maintenance planning, asset performance and service delivery
- Systems and process development: Build on the existing frameworks and processes, and introduce improvements that raise efficiency, consistency and performance as the portfolio grows
- Contractor and provider management: Lead the performance of maintenance contractors and specialist service partners, and hold them to account for quality, responsiveness and commercial outcomes




- Asset performance: Improve availability, reliability and generation through structured planning, data-led decisions and proactive resolution of issues
- Cross-functional coordination: Work with engineering, construction, safety and commercial teams so that assets transition into operations cleanly and perform consistently across their life

About You

- Proven experience leading operations across large-scale solar or storage assets in the Australian market
- Strong working knowledge of renewable energy electrical systems, control systems and digital maintenance platforms
- Demonstrated ability to manage contractors and maintenance providers across multiple sites
- A record of lifting asset performance through disciplined planning and data analysis
- A technical grounding, strong stakeholder management and a practical, solutions-oriented approach
