About the client:

A well-established specialist processing equipment business supporting the mining and mineral sector, providing engineered wear-resistant solutions designed to improve equipment reliability, extend asset life and reduce plant downtime. The business delivers a range of products and services including ceramic-lined pipework, wear linings, chutes, cyclones, fabrication, inspections, maintenance and site-based technical support, working with major resources operations across Australia and internationally.

About the Position:

WorkPac is seeking a Sales Representative for a permanent, Perth-based position. Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, you will be responsible for managing existing customer relationships and growing market share across the mining and industrial sectors throughout Western Australia. Joining the business during an exciting period of growth and expansion, you will have an established customer base to work with, using your knowledge of mining operations and commercial expertise to strengthen relationships, identify new opportunities and drive sales. You will play an important role in the continued expansion of the business across its full range of products and solutions.

Key responsibilities:

- Manage and develop an existing group of mining and industrial customers across Western Australia.

- Build solid, long-term relationships with key customers including; site, maintenance, reliability, operations and procurement teams and identify opportunities for growth.

- Grow sales and market share across the region through regular contact and relationship development

- Work with customers to understand their wear and downtime problems across their sites and recommend practical solutions aligned with HMA products and solutions





- Promote and sell the organisations suite of products and services, identifying cross-selling and upselling opportunities.

- Identify new business opportunities and develop relationships with prospective mining and industrial clients.

- Conduct regular customer visits, site meetings and discussions with customers to understand their needs and upcoming projects and/or opportunities.

Skills and experience to be successful in the role;

- Experience with mining customers in sales

- Mechanical Trade, Engineering Certificate or similar technical background is advantageous

- Knowledge or Experience in a wear Products, materials or mineral processing equipment would be highly regarded

- Previous sales and/or account management experience would be advantageous

- Highly Motivated & Enthusiastic

- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal

- Ability to travel regularly within WA

- Importantly, you enjoy visiting customer sites, understanding customer issues and identifying areas for improvement and following through with potential solutions.
