Applications Implementation Specialist | Healthcare IT

We’re looking for an experienced Applications Implementation Consultant to join a major healthcare technology transformation program supporting the acquisition and transition of multiple hospitals.

This role is heavily focused on application implementation, migration and transition, rather than traditional BAU application support.

You will work alongside internal IT teams, implementation partners, incumbent technology teams, hospital SMEs and software vendors, and be across the full application transition lifecycle.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Supporting the implementation, migration and transition of business and hospital applications
- Coordinating data migration, validation and reconciliation
- Supporting application configuration and workplace readiness
- Developing and coordinating testing, UAT and defect resolution
- Working closely with hospital SMEs to understand operational and system requirements
- Supporting cutover planning, go-live and hypercare
- Assessing application dependencies and change impacts
- Coordinating activities across internal teams, vendors and implementation partners
- Assisting with migration toward SaaS platforms where appropriate
- Supporting application integrations and transition dependencies
- Producing implementation documentation,



processes and handover material
- Helping establish the future applications support capabilities

We’re looking for someone with:

- Strong experience implementing or migrating enterprise applications
- Experience working across the full implementation lifecycle
- Hands-on exposure to data migration, testing/UAT, configuration, cutover and go-live
- Experience coordinating with software vendors and third-party implementation partners
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills across both technical and business teams
- Experience gathering application, reporting and operational requirements
- Understanding of integrations and dependencies between enterprise applications
- Ability to manage multiple applications or workstreams simultaneously
