Talent Focus is partnering with an industry-leading engineering company based in Archerfield, specialising in the repair, overhaul and manufacture of gearboxes for a diverse range of industries, including heavy vehicles, transport and mining equipment.

Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Storeperson to join their team in a permanent capacity.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual with strong warehousing skills and mechanical aptitude to secure a long-term career with a highly respected organisation.

The position offers a varied workload combining warehouse operations with hands-on workshop duties, along with excellent training, career development and an attractive remuneration package.

Key Responsibilities

- Forklift operation, including loading and unloading trucks
- Receiving, checking and dispatching goods
- Inventory management and stock control
- Processing incoming goods and receipting stock using computer systems
- Maintaining accurate inventory records
- Assisting tradespeople with general workshop duties
- Crane operation where qualified and authorised
- Maintaining a safe, clean and organised working environment
- General warehouse and workshop duties as required

About You

To be successful in this role, you will ideally possess:

- Current LF Forklift Licence
- Previous experience in stores, warehousing or inventory control
- Experience with receiving & dispatch and goods receipting




- Good computer literacy and experience using inventory systems
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Mechanical aptitude and confidence working in an engineering/workshop environment
- Crane operation experience (dogging qualification highly regarded)
- A proactive attitude and willingness to assist across different areas
- A strong commitment to workplace safety
- Reliability, punctuality and a positive work ethic
