The Opportunity
Gorilla Jobs is seeking a Locum Nephrology Consultant / Specialist / VMO to support nephrology services in Western NSW.
This role is ideal for a nephrologist wanting a change of pace in a well-known regional city, with a supportive hospital setting and a short block.
This is a hospital-based locum position covering inpatient nephrology and renal medicine, with a short block available for upcoming dates, paid at $3,500 per shift. Escalation pathways are available when required.

Clinical Environment
• Review and management of nephrology and renal medicine patients
• Inpatient consultations and clinical decision-making
• Development and documentation of management plans
• Handover and clinical documentation as required
• Collaboration with medical, nursing and allied health teams
• Supportive clinical workplace with escalation pathways available

Requirements
• Current AHPRA Specialist Registration
• Recent Nephrology consultant-level experience
• Strong communication, leadership and clinical judgement
• Ability to work safely within scope and escalate appropriately
• Current CV, references and compliance documents as required
