With a growing portfolio and expanding operations, we are seeking a skilled Construction Estimator to provide accurate cost assessments and support project delivery. The role involves preparing detailed estimates, analyzing costs, and coordinating with project teams to ensure budgets are realistic, competitive, and aligned with the highest standards of quality and compliance.

Role Overview

This is a full-time position responsible for preparing and managing cost estimates for residential construction projects, including budgeting, tender preparation, and cost analysis. The role suits someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and can confidently evaluate project requirements, liaise with stakeholders, and provide reliable financial insights to support successful project outcomes.

Job Duties

- Prepares detailed cost estimates, budgets, and tender submissions for housing projects.
- Analyzes project drawings, specifications, and requirements to determine accurate costings.
- Sources and evaluates supplier and subcontractor quotations.
- Works closely with project managers,



architects, and engineers to align estimates with design and compliance standards.
- Monitors cost performance throughout the project lifecycle and provides variance analysis.
- Assists in contract negotiations and prepares supporting documentation for bids.
- Ensures estimates are competitive, accurate, and delivered within required timeframes.
- Implements risk management and cost-control processes to safeguard project profitability.

Skills & Experience

- 3–5 years’ proven experience in construction estimating or cost planning.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail.
- Familiarity with estimating software, budgeting tools, and construction compliance systems.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills for supplier and stakeholder engagement.
- Ability to work independently, take ownership of cost outcomes, and support project delivery.
