Melbourne City FC is seeking an organised, proactive and detail-oriented Boys Academy Logistics Coordinator to play a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations of our Academy program.

Based at the City Football Academy in Cranbourne East, this role is responsible for coordinating the logistical, operational and administrative requirements that enable our Academy players, coaches and staff to perform at their best. From managing registrations and scheduling to coordinating matchday operations, travel and equipment, you will be at the centre of delivering a professional and high-performing Academy environment.

What you’ll be doing

Reporting to the Senior Manager – Academy, the Boys Academy Logistics Coordinator will provide comprehensive operational support across Melbourne City’s Academy programs while working closely with football operations staff, coaches, players and families. The role requires strong organisational skills, excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic sporting environment.

Your work will include:

- Coordinating the operational and administrative delivery of Academy programs, including scheduling, registrations and compliance.
- Managing training, matchday and competition logistics, including venue, equipment and kit coordination.
- Supporting Academy events, travel programs, domestic and international tours.
- Maintaining accurate player records, contracts and registration documents.
- Coordinating volunteers and matchday personnel while providing broader football operations support across Academy and qualified teams.

What we’re looking for

You have to be passionate about football, have a positive attitude and a commitment to the success of the Academy teams.

You’ll also be:

- Experienced in administration, logistics or operational coordination




- Highly organised with strong communication, stakeholder management and relationship-building skills
- Detail-oriented, skilled and capable of managing competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Proactive, collaborative and solutions-focused, with a strong work ethic and commitment to excellence.

Previous experience within football or professional sport is highly regarded, as is an understanding of football competitions and governing body requirements. Experience supporting travel logistics and knowledge of the Melbourne metropolitan area will be advantageous.
