Wyong Christian Community School is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated PDHPE teacher with experience in teaching CAFS and/or Child Studies to join our growing school community.

We are looking for a teacher who can bring learning to life through engaging and purposeful teaching, inspiring students to connect classroom learning with real-world experiences. The ideal candidate will be passionate about the practical and personal relevance of Community and Family Studies (CAFS) and Child Studies, helping students develop a deeper understanding of individuals, families, communities, child development and the factors that shape wellbeing throughout life.

Applicants should demonstrate the following:

- Affirm a personal belief in the school’s Statement of Faith.

- Demonstrate active involvement in their local church and a genuine commitment to Christian education.





- Work collaboratively and contribute positively to a supportive, team-oriented faculty.

- Demonstrate a commitment to ongoing professional learning and pedagogical growth.

- Be an effective and reflective practitioner with strong interpersonal, organisational and communication skills.

- Demonstrate exemplary teaching practice, using engaging, evidence-informed and innovative strategies to support student learning and achievement.

- Hold appropriate teaching qualifications and demonstrate strong curriculum knowledge and expertise in Community and Family Studies and/or Child Studies.

- Demonstrate an understanding of Explicit Instruction (advantageous, but not essential).
