About the role
MSS Security is seeking Full-Time Reliever Security Officers to join our team across Monash University campuses.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Conducting foot patrols, ensuring people are safe and buildings are secure.
- Escort individuals to and from various locations around the site as required.
- Ensuring property is locked and unlocked as required.
- Provide transparent directions and assistance to students, staff and visitors to ensure they can navigate the campus efficiently.
- Write reports in response to incidents or unusual activity, ensuring all information is documented.
- Communicate calmly, clearly and effectively with staff, students, and visitors.
Ideal Candidates Will Have:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Robust customer service skills and a professional presentation.
- A high level of fitness,
with the ability to walk up to 15–20 km per day.
- A flexible and adaptable approach to working across multiple university campuses.
Essential Requirements:
- Full Australian working rights.
- Valid Victorian Security Licence.
- Unrestricted Victorian Driver Licence.
- Valid Employee Working with Children Check or willingness to obtain one.
- Current First Aid and CPR certificates, or willingness to obtain them.
