We're looking for an experienced Behaviour Support Practitioner to join our multidisciplinary team, working with children, adolescents and adults to develop positive, evidence-based behaviour support plans that genuinely change lives. This is a role where your clinical skill is matched by the support structure around you — administration, scheduling, invoicing and a close-knit team all working to let you focus on what you do best. Apply Now!!! DONT MISS OUT!!!
What you'll do:
- Engage in therapeutic work with children, adolescents and adults as required
- Conduct information gathering, initial consultations and assessments with new and continuing clients
- Develop programs addressing skill-building and strategies to reduce behaviours of concern and restrictive practices
- Plan and create interim and comprehensive behaviour assessments and Behaviour Support Plans
- Deliver accurate, high-quality reports within NDIS required timeframes
- Work as part of a multidisciplinary team, sharing knowledge and expertise toward client goals
- Build and maintain positive relationships with clients, carers and educators, equipping them with the tools to implement each plan
- Provide face-to-face and/or telehealth therapy using evidence-based interventions and applied behavioural analysis, across clinical, home, educational and community settings
- Participate in regular clinic meetings and update programs accordingly
- Pursue your own personalised professional development goals and attend relevant training
- Manage administrative requirements including record keeping, billing, invoicing and your own calendar
- Provide regular progress feedback to participants, carers/nominees, LACs, support coordinators, NDIA staff and other stakeholders
- Build strong stakeholder relationships to strengthen partnerships
- Work with a high degree of autonomy, while staying genuinely connected to your multidisciplinary team
What you'll bring:
- Experience as a Behaviour Support Practitioner in the disability sector, ideally with paediatric clientele
- AHPRA registration (if relevant to your profession)
- Current registration as a Behaviour Support Practitioner with NDIS
- Current driver's licence
- National Police Check (within the last 3 months), Ochre Card, and NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain one)
- Full Australian working rights
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Strong time management and the ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively
What we offer:
A genuinely generous package — above-award wages, annual leave loading, a laptop/tablet and work mobile provided.
Real career progression — a long-term opportunity with scope for growth, a personalised learning plan, generous CPD allowances, and the chance to contribute to projects in areas you're genuinely interested in.
A team culture that's actually fun — frequent social events, quarterly team bonding, weekly team lunches and birthday celebrations.
Wellbeing that's taken seriously — monthly RDO, EAP counselling support, mental health days, and a fully funded annual team retreat (think Bali, not a boardroom).
Support that actually lightens your load — full administration support, Allied Health Assistants, a close multidisciplinary team, regular team meetings and huddles, with appointment scheduling and invoicing handled for you.
If you're ready to do meaningful clinical work backed by a team and a workplace that genuinely has your back, we'd love to hear from you. APPLY NOW!!! DONT MISS OUT!!!
