Panalo Pipes & Structurals Pty Ltd PANALO Pipes & Structurals Pty Ltd is a Broadford-based provider of high-quality welding, fabrication and mechanical engineering services to industrial, commercial and construction clients across Victoria. We are currently recruiting for the following positions. Position 1: Fitter (General) We are seeking a skilled Fitter (General) to fabricate, assemble, install, maintain and repair mechanical equipment and components for industrial and commercial projects.

Position 2: Fitter and Turner We are seeking a skilled Fitter and Turner to set up and operate machine tools to produce, fit and repair precision metal components for industrial and commercial projects. Task & responsibilities Position 1: Fitter (General) Key Responsibilities: Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications. Mark out, cut, shape, and machine metal components using hand tools and machinery. Fit, assemble and align mechanical components, pipework and equipment to specification.

Install, commission and adjust machinery and mechanical systems on site as required. Maintain, service and repair mechanical equipment, identifying and rectifying faults. Carry out quality checks to ensure compliance with project specifications.

Follow all workplace health and safety procedures. Position 2: Fitter and Turner Key Responsibilities: Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications.



Set up and operate lathes, milling machines, grinders and other machine tools to produce components to specification.

Mark out, cut, shape, and finish metal components using hand tools and machinery. Fit, assemble and test machined components and mechanical assemblies to required tolerances. Repair, modify and maintain machinery and equipment, including manufacturing replacement parts.

Carry out quality checks, using precision measuring instruments, to ensure compliance with project specifications. Follow all workplace health and safety procedures. Qualification & experience Position 1: Fitter (General) Qualifications & Experience: Certificate III in Engineering (Mechanical Trade) or equivalent.

Minimum 1–2 years' experience in general fitting, mechanical assembly and maintenance. Position 2: Fitter and Turner Qualifications & Experience: Certificate III in Engineering (Mechanical Trade) or equivalent. Minimum 2 years experience in fitting and turning and machining.
