Specifications of support: To support participant with physical disability, manual handling, personal care, community access services, hydrotherapy session together with participant in the swimming pool, exercise in the gym as per physio guidance, companionship, meal prep

Qualification & Document Checklist

- Certificate III or IV in healthcare services (Disability Services, Individual Support, Age Care, Community services or equivalent courses)

- Other equivalent qualification

- 100 points of ID (Driver's license, passport, visa, medicare)

- Working with Children Check

- NDIS Orientation Module

- New Worker Induction Certificate

Role & Responsibilities

Candidates must be able and willing :

- to support the participant in the swimming pool & gym (non-negotiable)

- to perform ethical manual handling procedures with participants

- to drive the participant across the community to access social, recreational and other community access services on a timely manner

- to be punctual and follow other work ethics

- to write regular case notes

- to follow incident management procedure in line with NDIS standards

- to support the participants with self-care routines

- to support the participant with domestic services and meal preparation

- to ensure safety of the participant and oneself

- to communicate with the management and team leader on a timely manner

- to send timesheet consistently

- to respond to emails of Employer

- to complete courses & training recommended by the Employer

- To compliant by reading, understanding and acknowledging the paperwork related to Wellkin Healthcare's policies & procedures of recruitment

- To build friendly & professional rapport with participant

- to maintain qualified boundaries with the participant

- to offer mental health and emotional support

- To participate in document renewal, updates, compliance, feedback/complaint managements and trainings
