AECOM’s Water Infrastructure team is looking for an inspiring and collaborative Team Manager to join our Cairns office.

This role combines technical excellence with team leadership and is an opportunity to work alongside industry-leading specialists across Australia, New Zealand and our global network, building meaningful connections, broadening your expertise and shaping a rewarding long-term career. Our Water Infrastructure team partners with a diverse range of public and private sector clients across water and wastewater treatment, dams, asset management, major conveyance, industrial facilities, civil infrastructure and defence. We are united by a commitment to delivering sustainable, practical outcomes that make a real difference.

The qualities that help you thrive:

- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering, with CPEng and/or RPEQ

- Demonstrated experience within the water infrastructure industry and a consulting environment

- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with an ability build relationships and engage with a diverse range of stakeholders at varying levels.

- A passion for mentoring, leadership & collaboration.

- Commercial and strategic acumen, with the ability to make informed decisions that balance profitability, efficiency, and market insight.
