This leading Big Four Bank is seeking multiple experienced professionals to join its Global Lending & Leasing team within the Chief Operations Office. The team manages the administration of bilateral loans, syndicated deals and corporate equipment and asset finance portfolios. This is a great opportunity to build specialist lending operations experience within a major Australian bank.

Your new role

You will join a specialist lending operations team performing a combination of Middle Office and Back Office responsibilities. Working closely with front-line bankers and customers, you will support lending facilities from initial set-up through ongoing maintenance and ultimately termination.
Your responsibilities will include:

- Reviewing and interpreting complex loan documentation, which can range from 100-700 pages
- Understanding relevant clauses and accurately translating lending agreements into internal systems
- Setting up and servicing facilities through Loan IQ
- Managing ongoing loan activity including drawdowns, rollovers and fee payments
- Liaising directly with bankers and customers to manage instructions and queries
- Performing manual calculations and resolving issues as they arise
- Supporting institutional banking products including bank guarantees, cash lending and multi-option facilities
- Managing lending facilities throughout their lifecycle through to termination

What you'll need to succeed





- Experience within lending operations and/or loan administration, with corporate and institutional experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to interpret complex documentation and lending agreements
- Proactive account management and stakeholder management experience, including direct interaction with customers
- Strong problem-solving skills and confidence completing manual calculations
- The ability to learn and work with complex systems and processes
- An adaptable approach and willingness to evolve as technology and ways of working continue to change
- Previous Loan IQ experience wil be highly regarded
