You will be responsible for transporting products between Yarra Glen and Silvan sites, as well as delivering to customers, venues and distributors as required. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys being on the road, takes pride in their work and understands that great service doesn't stop once the goods leave the warehouse.
Key responsibilities
- Local deliveries and collections across the Yarra Valley and greater Melbourne
- Transportation of packaged wine pallets, packaging materials and other goods between sites
- Seasonal grape collections from vineyards during vintage (particularly February, March & April)
- Loading and unloading goods safely
- Completing delivery paperwork and maintaining basic records
- Conducting vehicle inspections and daily safety checks
- Assisting warehouse staff when required
- Representing the business professionally at customer and supplier sites
About you
- Current HR Driver's Licence (essential)
- Forklift licence (essential)
- Clean driving record
- Physically capable of manual handling
- Good knowledge of Melbourne roads and regional routes
- Adaptable availability, including early starts when required
- Strong communication skills
- Experience transporting agricultural produce or working during vintage (advantageous but not essential)
