Working closely with Site Managers and Project Managers, you will assist with the day-to-day operations of residential construction sites across Greater Sydney. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who takes pride in their work, demonstrates initiative and is comfortable taking responsibility on site.
Key responsibilities
- Assist Site Managers with daily site operations and coordination
- Carry out general construction and labouring duties across multiple projects
- Maintain clean, organised and safe construction sites
- Coordinate site deliveries, materials and equipment
- Assist trades and subcontractors as required
- Undertake minor carpentry, demolition, site preparation and general building works within your capabilities
- Identify and report site issues, defects and safety concerns
- Ensure work is completed efficiently and to Tailored Homes' quality standards
- Work independently and take ownership of assigned tasks
About you
- Previous experience in residential construction is essential
- Leading Hand or supervisory experience is highly regarded
- Good understanding of residential building processes and construction sequencing
- Ability to use common construction tools and equipment
- Robust work ethic, reliability and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
- Current White Card
- Valid driver's licence and reliable transport
- Carpentry or other trade experience is highly regarded but not essential
