CDC NSW is looking for a reliable, hands-on and safety-focused Yard Person to join our team at the St Marys Charter Depot.
If you enjoy practical work, take pride in keeping things organised and can turn your hand to a variety of tasks, this is a great opportunity to play an important role in supporting our daily charter operations.
What You'll Be Doing
- Refuelling buses and completing routine checks, including oil and coolant levels.
- Supporting basic vehicle maintenance and reporting faults promptly.
- Keeping the depot yard clean, safe and organised, including parking buses efficiently.
- Washing bus exteriors and cleaning interiors when required.
- Coordinating with subcontractors attending the depot.
- Providing driver relief when required to support charter services.
What We're Looking For
We're seeking someone who is dependable, proactive and comfortable working in a busy, hands-on environment. You'll need strong communication and interpersonal skills, good organisational abilities and sound computer skills.
Essential requirements:
- Current Heavy Vehicle Licence.
- Current Driver Authority (DA).
- Current Working With Children Check (WWCC).
What's on Offer?
- Full time, Monday to Friday employment.
- Consistent afternoon shift: 12:00 pm – 20:30 pm.
- Weekend work opportunities may also be available.
- The opportunity to work as part of a supportive, team-focused depot.
