It’s a typical morning in Perth. A shipment of machinery is about to arrive, a customer is asking whether their certificate of origin will unlock a free trade agreement rate, and a high-risk consignment needs a second look before it moves. Someone has to know the answer to all three, and that someone is you.

As our Customs Expert (Broker), you’re the person people turn to when the rules get complicated. You’ll keep our customers on the right side of Australian customs laws and import/export regulations, and keep their cargo moving while you do it.

A day in your shoes

- Classify goods accurately for customs clearance and calculate duties, taxes and fees with precision

- Advise customers on free trade agreements and verify certificates of origin

- Guide key stakeholders through import/export licence requirements

- Review customs entries, valuations and tariff classifications, and support audits and customs case investigations

- Assess risk on high-risk shipments before they become problems

- Streamline customs processes by working with our KN network, customers, third-party providers and industry agencies

What you bring to the table

- A Licensed Customs Broker qualification (essential)

- Experience managing vendor performance, contracts and SLAs

- A solid understanding of how logistics operations, products and services fit together,



and how that drives better decisions

- A track record of building and strengthening relationships with clients and internal and external stakeholders
