East Wimmera Health Service (EWHS) is a fully accredited small rural health service across five campuses encompassing five communities in the Buloke and Northern Grampians Shires in North Western Victoria. EWHS is currently seeking an experienced and capable Quality & Risk Manager, preferably with a background in the health industry.

East Wimmera Health Service is seeking a dynamic and strategic Quality, Risk and Governance Manager to lead the development, implementation and evaluation of organisation-wide quality, risk and clinical governance systems.

Reporting directly to the Director Clinical Services, this senior leadership role is responsible for ensuring the organisation maintains excellence in governance, quality improvement, risk management and accreditation across all East Wimmera Health Service campuses. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in fostering a culture of safety, continuous improvement, evidence-based practice and person-centred care.

The position leads the Quality Team and works collaboratively with Executive Leadership, Campus Managers, Medical Officers and external agencies to achieve organisational objectives and drive a culture of quality, safety and continuous improvement.





To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:

- Proven leadership experience in quality, risk and governance within the health or aged care sector.

- Extensive knowledge of accreditation standards and clinical governance frameworks.

- Strong understanding of risk management, compliance and continuous improvement methodologies.

A Hybrid working arrangement may be considered subject to operational requirements.
