Salesian College Chadstone is seeking a skilled and enthusiastic ICT Technician & AV Specialist to join our ICT Team.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys working across both ICT support and audiovisual technology in a busy school environment.

The successful applicant will provide day-to-day technical support to staff and students while playing an important role in the planning, setup and delivery of audiovisual services for College events, assemblies and other activities.

About the Role

Working closely with the ICT Manager, you will:

- Provide Level 1–2 ICT support across devices, software, accounts, printing, telephony and classroom technology.

- Troubleshoot and maintain ICT systems, including Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Intune and network connectivity.

- Support the setup, operation and maintenance of AV systems, including audio, lighting, video, streaming and control systems.

- Take a lead technical role in delivering AV support for College events, assemblies and ceremonies.

- Maintain classroom technology and network-connected AV equipment.

- Assist with ICT and AV projects, equipment upgrades, installations and vendor coordination.

- Maintain accurate records, documentation and equipment inventories.

- Provide reliable and responsive technical support to staff and students.





The position may involve occasional evening and weekend work to support College events.

About You

We are looking for someone who:

- Has experience providing ICT support and troubleshooting technical issues.

- Has practical experience working with audiovisual equipment and live event technology.

- Is familiar with Microsoft 365, Windows, Active Directory/Entra and device management systems.

- Has an understanding of networking and classroom technology.

- Can work independently, manage competing priorities and respond calmly to technical issues.

- Has strong communication and customer service skills.

- Enjoys working collaboratively and supporting a busy school community.

- Supports the Catholic and Salesian ethos of the College and is committed to child safety.

Relevant IT qualifications and Microsoft certifications will be highly regarded.
