About the Role

As a Retail Trade Salesperson at Sydney Tools Marsden Park, you'll play an important role in driving sales, delivering exceptional customer service and building lasting relationships with our trade and retail customers.

You'll work with professional tradespeople, contractors and DIY customers, helping them find the right tools and equipment for their projects.

Your Key Responsibilities:

- Provide outstanding customer service and expert product recommendations.
- Build strong relationships with customers to encourage repeat business.
- Identify sales opportunities and recommend suitable tools, accessories and equipment.
- Work towards individual and store sales targets.
- Develop strong product knowledge across our extensive range of leading brands.
- Maintain a clean, organised and well-presented showroom.
- Process customer transactions and respond to enquiries efficiently.
- Work collaboratively with your team to deliver excellent store results.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone with a positive attitude, a strong work ethic and the motivation to succeed in a sales-focused environment.

Ideally, you'll bring:

- Previous experience in retail sales, trade sales, hardware or a customer-facing environment.
- Alternatively, a trade background with an interest in transitioning into sales.

Previous tool and hardware experience is highly regarded, but not essential. We provide the training and support to help you succeed.

Working Hours

This is a permanent full-time position operating on a rotating roster of five-day and six-day working weeks across a fortnight, including one weekend day each week.
