Lead projects. Drive results. Make an impact.

We're looking for an experienced Commercial Plumbing Project Manager to join our team and take ownership of commercial plumbing projects from contract award through to practical completion and final handover.

This is a key role for a project leader who combines strong commercial awareness with practical construction knowledge and the ability to build trusted relationships with clients, builders, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers and internal teams.

You'll be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, profitably, on programme and to the required quality and contractual standards.

About the Role

As Commercial Plumbing Project Manager, you will have end-to-end responsibility for the successful delivery of your allocated projects, including:

- Managing commercial plumbing projects from commencement through to completion and handover.

- Developing and maintaining project programmes, budgets, procurement schedules and delivery plans.

- Monitoring project progress, costs, programme, scope, quality and contractual requirements.

- Managing project financial performance, including budgets, forecasts, cash flow, cost-to-complete and margins.

- Identifying, pricing, negotiating and tracking variations, additional works, claims and extensions of time.

- Managing procurement of materials, equipment, plant and specialist subcontractor services.

- Coordinating Site Managers, Supervisors, Foremen, trades, subcontractors and suppliers.

- Working closely with builders and other trades to coordinate services, shop drawings, penetrations, set-outs and interfaces.

- Reviewing contracts, scopes, drawings and specifications and managing contractual obligations and risks.

- Resolving technical, commercial and site issues quickly and effectively.

- Maintaining strong relationships with clients, builders, consultants,

subcontractors and suppliers.

- Ensuring projects meet relevant safety, quality, compliance, Australian Standards and client requirements.

- Coordinating testing, commissioning, defects, practical completion and final handover.

- Ensuring all required as-built drawings, certificates, warranties, O&M; manuals and project documentation are completed.

- Finalising project costs, variations, claims, subcontractor accounts and close-out requirements.

- Contributing to project reviews, continuous improvement and the ongoing success of the business.

What We're Looking For

We're seeking a Project Manager with demonstrated experience delivering commercial plumbing projects and a strong understanding of construction processes and project delivery.

You'll ideally have:

- Proven experience managing commercial plumbing or hydraulic projects.

- Solid financial and commercial management skills, including budgets, forecasting, cost control and variations.

- A solid understanding of plumbing services, construction documentation, drawings and specifications.

- The ability to read and interpret hydraulic/plumbing drawings.

- Strong planning, organisational and time-management skills.

- Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.

- The ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities.

- Strong problem-solving, negotiation and decision-making skills.

- High commercial awareness and attention to detail.

- Strong computer literacy and experience with project management and office software.

A plumbing trade qualification or relevant hydraulic/plumbing industry experience is desirable, as is a project or construction management qualification.

Experience delivering large-scale commercial, industrial, retail, health, education or multi-residential projects, and working with major builders, consultants and subcontractors, will be highly regarded.

What Success Looks Like

Success in this role means delivering projects that are:

- Safe and compliant

- On time and well planned

- Within budget and commercially successful

- High quality with minimal defects

- Well documented and professionally handed over

- Delivered with strong client and builder relationships

You'll also play an important role in leading project teams, improving processes and identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and profitability.

Why This Role?

This is an opportunity to take genuine ownership of projects and have a direct impact on both project outcomes and business performance.

You'll be at the centre of the project - working across clients, builders, consultants, site teams, subcontractors and suppliers - with the opportunity to influence everything from programme and procurement through to commercial performance and final handover.
