Help protect Teachers Mutual Bank Limited by strengthening our cyber security controls, monitoring emerging threats and supporting effective incident response across the Bank.
About the role As our Cyber Security Operations Analyst, you’ll join the Cyber Operations team and take a hands-on role in protecting the Bank from evolving information security threats.
You’ll work across technology and the broader business to operate and improve key security controls, monitor and respond to security events, support vulnerability management and help ensure new technology and change initiatives are delivered securely.
This is an prospect to work across a broad cyber security environment where you can contribute ideas, solve complex security challenges and make a genuine impact.
About you You’ll bring:

- Experience in a cyber operations role, including operating cyber security controls and supporting incident response
- Knowledge of security concepts including vulnerability management, intrusion detection, access control, MFA, data protection and network/application security
- Experience with or knowledge of SIEM, security monitoring, threat hunting and incident investigation
- Understanding of frameworks including NIST CSF, MITRE ATT&CK; and OWASP
- An analytical and proactive approach to identifying security risks and vulnerabilities
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex cyber security and technology risks to non-technical stakeholders
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA or Microsoft certifications will be highly regarded




- Financial services or banking experience will also be well regarded

What you’ll do
- Configure, monitor and support key enterprise security controls
- Support the secure operation of cloud environments
- Monitor the internal and external threat landscape and emerging cyber risks
- Support SIEM monitoring, alerting, threat hunting and post-incident investigations
- Contribute to cyber security incident response
- Coordinate and track vulnerability assessments and security testing findings
- Perform security control testing to assess cyber security effectiveness
- Support security threat modelling and risk identification
- Partner with technology and business teams to identify and manage security impacts across projects and change initiatives
