Exceptional opportunity for a Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join our Adelaide team and showcase your advanced design and delivery expertise in electrical engineering.
As a Senior Electrical Design Engineer at SAGE, you will ensure the successful delivery of professional engineering design services in multiple areas of engineering competency across concurrent projects.
In this role you will:
- Be confident in liaising directly with clients in developing and refining scopes of work as needed.
- Manage the preparation and production of electrical designs to meet project requirements, specifications, budgets, and timeframes.
- You will support the Regional Engineering Manager to drive the team’s performance in achieving schedule, quality, and targets.
- Assist in mentoring and supporting a small team to successfully and competently deliver complex engineering solutions for a variety of projects.
Skills & Experience:
- Electrical Engineering degree with 5+ years of proven experience within transport, energy, utilities or manufacturing sectors.
- Eligible for state-based engineering registration in Electrical Engineering.
- Solid knowledge of systems engineering principles and practices including AutoCAD Electrical.
- Verifiable design experience including PLC I/O systems and hazardous area.
- Proven experience of calculating cable sizing, maximum demand, and discrimination.
- Excellent communication skills with the confidence to engage with key stakeholders at all levels.
