EXPERIENCED HC / MC TIPPER & QUAD DOG DRIVERS

SCIG is looking for experienced HC / MC Tipper truck and quad dog drivers. We want reliable, experienced operators who know Tipping & Cartage, look after their truck, communicate well and take pride in doing the job properly.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

You must be able to:

- Respond promptly to job allocations, calls and messages

- Be reliable, punctual and ready for allocated work

- Operate truck and quad dog combinations safely and efficiently

- Accurately manage weights, scales, weighbridge information and load limits

- Complete electronic dockets, times, loads and job records accurately

- Confidently use project apps and site systems

- Look after the truck and report problems early

- Carry out basic maintenance checks diagnose mechanical issues where possible

- Be physically capable of safely handling basic roadside tasks, including tyre punctures and minor repairs where appropriate

- Communicate clearly with our Operations / Logistics team, site supervisors and clients

Reliability, responsiveness, truck care and accurate paperwork are just as important to us as driving experience.

MAJOR PROJECTS & INDUCTIONS

Priority will be given to drivers already registered and inducted, or ready to complete registration and induction, for:

- SRL – Suburban Rail Loop - M80 / North-East Link - Lantrak – EPH - Fleet

- Other major Civil infrastructure and Commercial projects

- Current Damstra, RIW, White Card and EPA certifications and other project registrations are highly regarded where applicable.

WHAT WE OFFER

- Full-Time PAYG - Casual PAYG - ABN and Subcontractor Opportunities





· $35 -$40 p/hr PAYG + super; ABN $45 - $50/hr + GST

- Regular work across major civil and infrastructure projects

- Opportunity to become a preferred operator based on reliability, safety, productivity, accurate records and truck care

EXPERIENCE & REQUIREMENTS

Essential:

- Current HC or MC Victorian driver’s licence

- Proven truck and quad dog experience

- Solid bulk earthworks / cartage experience

- Good knowledge of Melbourne roads and civil construction sites

- Good understanding of safe loading, tipping, manoeuvring and load limits

- Good communication and smartphone skills

- Ability to use project apps and electronic dockets

- Reliable attendance and punctuality

- Physically capable of normal driver duties and basic vehicle checks

- Ability to meet required project/client onboarding requirements

Highly regarded:

- 5+ years’ Victorian civil / infrastructure cartage experience

- SRL or M80 / North-East Link experience

- Existing Lantrak / EPH or major-project registrations

- Damstra / RIW registration

- Strong mechanical knowledge
