Cellars Group operates two independent liquor stores in Melbourne:

• Cellars Bentleigh – hybrid liquor retail & wine bar
• Cellars on Carlisle (Balaclava) – retail takeaway only

We are a standards-driven independent retailer focused on strong presentation, product knowledge and consistency. We are not a high-volume chain store — we care about how the shop looks, how it runs, and how customers experience it.

We are currently hiring reliable casual team members to work across both locations that can start immediately.

The Role

You will be responsible for:

- Providing confident, friendly and informed customer service

- Assisting customers with wine, beer and spirits selection

- Processing sales accurately

- Maintaining high shop floor presentation standards

- Receiving and putting away deliveries

- Ensuring pricing accuracy and ticket alignment

- Maintaining facing and stock rotation

- Pouring wine and serving customers at Bentleigh (wine bar shifts only)

- Supporting operational standards set by the Operations Manager

This role involves both customer-facing service and hands-on operational tasks.

MUST Have

- Current RSA certificate

- Robust weekend availability (Friday, Saturday evenings essential)

- Availability across weekdays and evenings

- Ability to work across both Bentleigh and Balaclava

- Physically capable of handling deliveries and stock movement





- Strong attention to detail (pricing, presentation, stock rotation)

- Reliable, punctual and comfortable working under structure

- Solid product knowledge in wine and/or craft beer

- Lives within a reasonable distance to the store locations

PREFERRED

- Previous liquor retail experience

- Hospitality or wine bar experience

- Ability to sell wine
