About the Role
We are seeking a Registered Nurse (Practice Nurse) to join our team at Marion Domain Medical Centre on a casual basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a supportive and collaborative environment where you'll play an essential role in delivering high-quality patient care and supporting GPs across a broad range of nursing services.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver treatment room services including vaccinations, wound care, ECGs, spirometry, plastering, and suture removal
- Assist with chronic disease management, health assessments, care plans, and preventative health initiatives
- Conduct patient health checks and provide education on health conditions and treatment plans
- Support nurse-led clinics and coordinate patient care with GPs and allied health providers
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and patient records
- Assist with infection control, stock management, sterilisation, and accreditation activities
- Contribute to a positive patient experience and high standard of clinical care
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- Previous nursing experience in General Practice, Primary Care, or Treatment Room settings highly regarded
- Strong clinical assessment and communication skills
- A patient-focused approach with excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
- Commitment to delivering exceptional patient care
