Electrical Superintendent – Solar & BESS
Package: $180-200k base, super, 10% site allowance,
DIDO and FIFO considered

About the Role
An opportunity exists for an experienced Electrical Superintendent to oversee electrical construction on a large-scale renewable energy project. You will lead site teams and subcontractors, ensuring works are delivered safely, to programme and in line with project specifications and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities

- Supervise electrical construction crews, subcontractors and self-perform teams.
- Oversee installation of solar electrical systems, BESS, HV infrastructure, inverters, transformers, switchgear, cabling and earthing.
- Coordinate daily work plans, labour, materials and construction schedules.
- Ensure compliance with electrical safety requirements, project specifications and relevant standards.
- Monitor progress, resolve technical issues and manage quality inspections.
- Support testing, commissioning,



energisation and project handover.

About You

- Previous experience working as an Electrical Superintendent on major construction or renewable energy projects.
- Current electrical licence relevant to the role and project jurisdiction.
- Demonstrated experience across utility-scale solar, BESS and high-voltage (HV) infrastructure.
- Proven experience managing self-perform electrical crews, alongside subcontractors.
- Strong understanding of electrical drawings, single-line diagrams, safety procedures and commissioning requirements.
- Excellent leadership, planning and stakeholder management skills.
