About the Role

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the efficient, safe and reliable operation of plant and equipment across our UHT production facility. This role operates on a 3-shift rotation over 5 days and is offered as a permanent, full time position.

Key responsibilities include:

- Managing, maintaining and repairing production equipment used in UHT manufacturing
- Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance to minimise downtime
- Diagnosing and rectifying mechanical faults across plant and production equipment
- Designing and/or building plant equipment to required safety standards where required
- Supporting HACCP, food safety and maintenance compliance requirements




- Working collaboratively with production and maintenance teams

About You

To be successful in this role, you will be a safety-focused, reliable tradesperson with experience in a production or manufacturing environment.

You will have:

- Trade qualified (Cert III in Engineering - Mechanical or Fabrication)
- inimum 2 years’ experience in production or manufacturing maintenance
- Current driver’s licence
- Strong commitment to personal safety and the safety of others
- Values a positive approach to work and each other
- Current High-Risk Licence (Forklift / Scissor Lift) Desirable
- Restricted Electrical – Disconnect & Reconnect Desirable
- First Aid & CPR Certificate Desirable

Nippy’s will provide ongoing training to maintain HACCP and Maintenance requirements.
