You will be based at our Burdett House, located at 65 Burdett Street Hornsby NSW , recent luxury residential aged care home.Various shifts are available, providing flexibility to suit your schedule.Burdett House is seeking a motivated and compassionate Cleaning and Catering Attendant to join our team.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with the elderly and is passionate about providing quality hospitality and dining services.
You will be part of a supportive and collaborative team dedicated to enhancing the wellbeing and dining experience of our residents.Key Responsibilities:Assist with general meal preparation, meal delivery, and maintaining a clean and hygienic kitchen.Perform cleaning duties including dusting, mopping, sweeping, vacuuming,



and maintaining surfaces such as windows and doorsSupport residents' dining needs and provide excellent customer serviceMaintain high standards of cleanliness, food safety, and hygieneFollow infection control and food handling proceduresParticipate in kitchen cleaning and equipmentContribute to a safe, welcoming, and positive dining setting for residentsAbout You:Police Check (National Police Certificate) (Essential)At least 1 year experience as a catering attendant or cleaner (Desirable)Previous experience as a catering attendant in an aged care workplace (Desirable)Excellent customer service and communication skillsA positive attitude and genuine passion for supporting the elderlyCommitment to delivering high-quality services and enhancing the resident experienceAbility to work effectively both independently and as part of a teamAbout the CompanyThompson Health Care is a family-owned company, with five decades of experience.
