Due to growth, we're seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual who takes pride in their work to join their team as a Workshop Trades Assistant.
This unique positionrequires a high level of attention to detail and a proactive helpful and flexible approach to assist trades staff with the repair and build of intricate pneumatic and hydraulic equipment, manufacturing processes and stores staff with pick,
pack and despatch activities.The varied workload across two departments calls for a cooperative, adaptable approach, working to timeframes and ensuring quality job completion.The Role:Assist trades with machining, fitting, fabrication, assembly, repair and manufacturing requirementsAssist with stores work including receiving, shipping, storing and packing stock in the warehouse.Conduct client deliveries as requiredGeneral housekeeping of workshopEnsure all policy, procedures and safety requirements are adhered to at all timesWhat we're looking for:Experience supporting machining, fitting, fabrication workshop or similarStores experience is desirable but not essential.Drivers licenceForklift license.Ability to follow detailed work instructions and work independentlyAble to carry our physical tasks as requiredSelf motivated, good organisations skillsSuited to working in a fast-paced workplace.Punctual and reliable with exceptional interpersonal skillsBenefits:Full time permanent role$36 per hour + super + opportunity for some overtimeExciting role with variety supporting fitters, machinists and boilermakersGreat team environmentOpportunity for upskilling and further career development
