The role leads the development of compliant, protected, practical, and commercially effective engineering solutions, while mentoring junior engineers and contributing to the continuous improvement of engineering standards, systems, and processes.Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering, recognised by Engineers AustraliaMinimum 5 years' relevant mechanical engineering experience, ideally within fabrication/manufacturing and heavy vehicle environmentsStrong mechanical design, engineering calculations and 3D modelling skills,



with experience designing steel and aluminium fabricated structuresDemonstrated experience in FEA of weldments and assembliesExperience with pneumatic and hydraulic system designCompetency with Autodesk Inventor/AutoCAD and related engineering softwareUnderstanding of ISO and relevant engineering standards and processesPreferred: Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) and bulk fuel tanker or trailer experience.In addition to the above, you will need to be team oriented and a genuine down-to-earth professional as this is a team of loyal, long tenured staff who love to produce top quality work and keep their customer base satisfied.If you are successful in obtaining this position, you will receive a highly market-competitive salary package, composed of base salary and superannuation.
