Personal Care Worker- Community Based We're looking for a compassionate and reliable Personal Care Worker to support Home Care clients across Wollongong and the South Coast, including Wollongong, Albion Park, Kiama, Berry, Bomaderry, Nowra, Culburra Beach, Corrimal, Helensburgh, Austinmer, Figtree, Bulli, Port Kembla and surrounding areas.
In this rewarding role, you'll provide personalised, in-home care and support to help clients maintain their independence and wellbeing, while building genuine connections and making a positive difference every day.
Hours are generally between 8:00am and 5:00pm, Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend work.
Depending on each client's individual needs, your duties may include:
Personal care and assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs)Showering and grooming supportRespite careLight domestic assistance
As you'll be supporting multiple clients across different locations throughout your shift, you'll need access to a reliable vehicle and be comfortable travelling across the region.
Availability from Monday to Friday is highly desirable.

To be successful, you'll have:
You hold a Certificate III in Aged Care, Disability, Community or Individual Care and have experience in a similar roleA reliable, fully insured vehicle and a current driver's licenceA National Police Check (issued within the last 12 months)Proof of Australian working rightsCurrent Manual Handling, First Aid and CPR certificatesA minimum of two COVID-19 vaccinationsWilling to travel 30 minutes in between clients
