The successful candidate will work within the ANZAC Club, reporting to the ANZAC Club General Manager or to other staff as delegated.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESGreeting and assisting our clients and guestsExplaining menu itemsServing of food and beveragesMaintain cleanliness of the restaurant and events venues within ANZAC HouseMonitor the inventoryAttend to cash registersOther duties as directed by the ANZAC Club General Manager and/or Restaurant ManagerKEY REQUIREMENTSQualifications and ExperienceResponsible Service of Alcohol (Nationally Recognised)Food Handler's CertificationPrior experience as an Attendant with restaurants or hotelsA sound knowledge of restaurant hygiene practices and Work Health Safety standardsPersonal Skills and AttributesHighly adaptable with ability to work flexibility, including out of standard work hours (for RSLWA events) as required.Robust teamwork orientation, with the ability and social skills to work collaboratively with staff at all levelsCustomer service orientedAbility to work autonomously, self-motivated, proactive and with a high-energy levelAbility to take responsibility, show initiative and work calmly under pressureCompany OverviewRSL WA is committed to providing comprehensive support for veterans, their spouses and families, encompassing a wide array of support services.
