The Operations Manager is responsible for driving measurable production, quality and safety improvements across Wheelie Rooms' manufacturing facilities in both Brisbane and Melbourne.
Drive planning, supplier performance, inventory availability, BOM readiness, TACT compliance, standardised processes, quality compliance and scheduling.Key responsibilitiesOwn production readiness, including materials, labour information, BOM requirements, sequencing and constraintsMonitor actual labour against BOM allowances and investigate adverse variancesLead Lean, TIMWOOD, 5S and Kaizen activities with quantified perks and visible follow-throughMaintain and improve WHS, quality, SOP and training systemsProvide concise, timely and data-based reporting to the General ManagerInfluence production personnel and support functions through clear standards and accountabilityTrack labour hours and cost by unit, build stage and task against BOM allowancesIdentify bottlenecks, waiting time, constraints and causes of schedule varianceMaintain accurate reorder points, shortage visibility and escalation processesMonitor supplier delivery performance and address recurring lateness, shortages or quality issuesAbout youManufacturing operations,
