The organisation operates within the recruitment sector.About the roleThe organisation is creating a dedicated Finance Manager role to establish and lead a centralised finance function supporting operations across Australia, Current Zealand, the United Kingdom and the United States.
This is a hands-on position where the Finance Manager will ensure the day-to-day finance operations run smoothly, recruit and lead a small team, and progressively improve the function's operations.Key responsibilitiesRun the finance function and own the day-to-day finance operation across four regionsManage month-end close, reconciliations, and management reporting processesLead commission calculations for payroll provider handoffOversee budgeting, forecasting, cashflow, and working-capital reportingCoordinate year-end, tax, audit, and compliance processes with specialist advisersBuild and lead a small finance support team of two, participating in recruitment and onboardingLead the transition of finance operations from existing providers to a centralised modelImprove processes and systems by standardising finance operations and identifying automation opportunities.Skills & experienceCA or CPA qualified, or equivalent recognised accounting qualificationStrong technical grounding,
