An established global renewable energy IPP is looking for a Senior Accountant to join their Australian finance team.Melbourne or SydneyBroad Role Across a Growing Project PortfolioReporting to the Senior Finance Manager, this is a broad financial accounting role working across a portfolio of renewable energy projects and entities.
You'll take ownership of financial and statutory reporting, manage the external audit process and provide technical accounting support across the Australian business.The roleOwn monthly management accounts and financial reporting across multiple Australian entitiesPrepare statutory financial statements in accordance with AASB/IFRSManage the annual external audit process from planning through to completionProvide technical accounting support across areas including revenue recognition, leases, financial instruments and intercompany transactionsManage month-end processes, reconciliations and internal controlsSupport tax and compliance requirements including BAS/GST and transfer pricingAssist with annual budgets, forecasts and variance analysisWork across renewable energy development,
