About the Role Reporting to a Manager or Partner, you'll manage a varied portfolio of clients independently while providing day-to-day guidance to junior team members.
This isn't a compliance-only role you'll have genuine exposure to advisory work and the opportunity to build client relationships.
Your responsibilities will include: Preparing and reviewing financial statements and income tax returns for companies, trusts, partnerships,



and individuals Managing a portfolio of SME and HNWI clients with a high degree of autonomy Identifying tax planning opportunities and presenting recommendations to clients Reviewing and coaching the work of junior accountants and graduates Supporting Managers and Partners with advisory engagements and special projects Building and maintaining strong client relationships through regular communication and proactive service About You You're a CA or CPA-qualified accountant with solid public practice foundations, a growing desire to work beyond compliance, and the confidence to engage clients directly.
CA or CPA qualified (or finalist) 3–5+ years' experience in Australian public practice Proven ability to manage a client portfolio with limited supervision Strong technical knowledge across tax and compliance — business services background ideal Experience reviewing and mentoring junior staff Excellent communication skills and a client-first mindset Proficiency in Xero, MYOB, or similar cloud accounting software Why This Role?
