With patients travelling from across Australia to visit the practice, the team is known for taking a considered, individual approach to vision and eye care.We are looking for a qualified Optical Dispenser to join our team full time, bringing robust technical knowledge, a patient-first approach and an appreciation for quality dispensing.The RoleYou'll work closely with our Optometrists and practice team across dispensing, pre-testing and the broader patient journey, including:Providing personalised frame and lens recommendationsTaking accurate measurements and coordinating spectacle ordersFittings, adjustments,
repairs and aftercareConducting pre-testing and supporting patients through the practiceHelping patients understand their lens and eyewear optionsManaging orders and liaising with suppliers and laboratoriesMaintaining solid product and lens knowledgeContributing to the smooth day-to-day operation of the practiceThis is a role for someone who enjoys the technical side of dispensing just as much as the people side, taking the time to understand each patient's needs and find the right solution for them.About YouWe're looking for someone who:Holds a qualification in Optical DispensingHas previous optical dispensing experienceBrings strong technical knowledge and attention to detailIs confident discussing frames, lenses and dispensing options with patientsCommunicates well and enjoys being part of a team-oriented teamValues continued learning and professional developmentWhy Fitzroy North Eye Centre?
